Donovan Weiblen Graduate Council Representative to the Executive Board

Arriving from Minnesota, I attended the activity fair looking for ways to meet new friends and become involved in campus life. I joined several clubs including the Rensselaer Student Auto Shop, where I currently serve as president, and The 8th Street Swing Band, where I play trumpet. As a 4th year Ph.D. student in Materials Engineering, being the Graduate Council Representative to the Executive Board has been a great way to become involved in student government and promote graduate student involvement in clubs and activities on campus. The Student Union at RPI has provided me with many new opportunities and experiences. I look forward to continuing to support student life at RPI.
