Yaseen Mahmoud

Hi all! My name is Yaseen, and I am a current junior pursuing a double major in Information Technology and Web Science and Mechanical Engineering. I was born and raised in central NJ along with 3 older sisters. I first became involved with student government right after NRB, when I met Justin Etzine, the President of the Union at that time. He encouraged me to get involved, and since then I've been a member of the Union Executive Board, first as a Financial Advisor, and then as a voting member. When I'm not busy with student government or academics, I work as president of RPI Ambulance, vice president of the Muslim Student's Association, and as an athlete for the Rensselaer Crew team. In my free time, I enjoy working out, catching up on TV shows, and volunteering at my local fire department.
