Christine Magunga

I was born in Kenya, eastern Africa. I spent my childhood there before I moved to Syracuse, NY. On campus, I have been actively involved in the African Students Association (ASA). I am also a member of SWE. In my free time, I love to sketch and listen to Afrobeat music. As a sophomore, I have served as an Executive Board representative. Connecting student organizations to the Union and being a part of the Board has been a great experience. I look forward to expanding student-use of Union services, like marketing and club advisors, and voicing a holistic view of student life on the 2019-2020 Executive Board.
