Emily Durcan

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a co-terminal masters student studying Structual Engineering. I graduated in May 2019 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering from RPI. I am excited to continue my education here at Rensselaer as well as contribute to the graduate community as a graduate representative for the 2019-2020 school year.

In addition to student government, I am heavily involved with Habitat for Humanity helping to build houses for lower income families. I previously served as the Vice-President of Finance and Secretary. When I graduate with my masters degree, I would like to pursue bridge design in the NYC area and eventually obtain my professional engineering (P.E.) license. In my spare time I like to do puzzles, go for a run or hike, read, and cook.
