Student Life Committee

The Student Life Committee (SLC) focuses on student rights and well-being and works to improve the student experience. This versatile committee collaborates with Rensselaer administration and various student organizations to alleviate student life issues through initiatives and policy discussion. The SLC chair must advocate for student involvement in interviewing staff that work directly with students. The chair must be proactive in the ways that they communicate with administrators. This year the committee will have a focus on looking at support for mental health and wellness on campus.
