Help provide feedback to the Counseling Center through an anonymous survey from the Senate Student Life Committee

The Counseling Center subcommittee of the Student Life Committee has compiled a short survey to gather larger student sentiment towards the mental health facilities at Rensselaer. This brief survey aims to gather student opinions on the quality of care and the ease of access of counseling at RPI. To take the survey, visit!

Can’t log in? If a person would like to take the survey and does not have an active RCS ID, they may contact Subcommittee Head Nathan Dorer at to gain a temporary login for the survey.

While this survey requires that students log in using a valid RCS user ID, the survey itself is completely anonymous. The login is merely used to authenticate that survey participants are affiliated with RPI, and all personally-identifiable user information is deleted after the session is complete. An irreversible hash of your RCS ID is recorded to ensure that the survey is taken only once, and this hash is not linked to your survey response. Furthermore, the open-source code for the survey platform can be found at

The Student Life Committee would like to thank you for your participation and your contribution to improving the student experience. If any students would like to participate in the Counseling Center Subcommittee, or any of the other subcommittees that are part of SLC, meetings are held at 6 pm on Tuesdays in the Union Student Government Suite. For any questions about SLC, please contact the chairperson, Justin Etzine, at
