Graduate Research Symposium – We are planning our second annual Graduate Research Symposium for March 25th.General registration will open after winter break, but abstract and artwork submission is now open! This is a great opportunity to practice presenting your research, defend your Master’s thesis or learn about the innovative and collaborative work going on at RPI. Everyone is encouraged to submit an abstract, poster or artwork. If you find your research doesn’t fit one of these formats, please get in touch so we can support you and your work.
This year we are excited to announce our keynote speaker, Dr. Mark Little, member of the Rensselaer Board of Trustees. Dr. Little received his PhD from RPI in Mechanical Engineering and worked for GE for 37 years. You can read more about his career here.
The GRS will also feature a 3 Minute Thesis competition where you can compete to win wonderful prizes ($500 for first place!) and work on your presentation skills. Interested? Find more info on the 3MT website. We will also have several career panels to meet the needs of our diverse student body. As always, we will have talk sessions throughout the day and a poster session in the afternoon.
